I am asking for prayer for my brother and sister in-law who are walking through an incredibly difficult season.

A young adult in the family is struggling with some serious mental and emotional challenges, and his parents are carrying a tremendous burden as they try to understand how best to help him. They love him deeply, but they are seeing the situation from different perspectives. One is wrestling with where poor judgment and personal responsibility fit into what is happening, while the other is focused heavily on protecting their child and his well-being. Both are trying to do what they believe is right, but right now the storm is making it difficult for any of them to see clearly.

They are a family who believes in Jesus, and I am praying that their faith will become an anchor when their own understanding is exhausted.

Please pray for wisdom that can only come from God. Pray for discernment for his parents—to know when to protect, when to establish boundaries, when to speak, when to listen, and how to remain united in their love for their son even when they may not agree on every decision.

Pray especially for this young man—that God would protect his mind, his heart, and his life. Pray that confusion would give way to clarity, fear to peace, and darkness to hope. Pray that the right people, resources, counsel, and support would be placed in his path at exactly the right time.

Please also pray that the enemy would not use this situation to divide this family, create resentment, or destroy relationships. Instead, may God use even this painful season to draw them closer to Him and eventually closer to one another.

More than anything, I am praying for God to intervene in a way that none of us could orchestrate, predict, or explain—a breakthrough so unmistakable that when we look back, there will be no question that God stepped into the middle of this storm.

We may not understand what He is doing right now, but we are asking Him to make a way where we cannot see one.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6

Please pray for healing, wisdom, protection, unity, peace, and a miracle that only God can receive the glory for.
