Who made a difference in your life?

It was a great grandmother, Alma, who has the biggest impact on my spiritual life. I did attend Sunday School and Church on a regular basis, with my mom as a Sunday School teacher. Once old enough I moved away from home, and from Church. I always believed, but did things as a young person that were sinful. And, often would forget to ask God for forgiveness. I went years doing this, and then one day, feeling very empty, alone, and sad, I was reminded of Alma, my great grandmother. Suddenly, all of her came rushing back to me, in an instant, she was there, in my bedroom with me, as I hid under my cover, holding my hand, and soothing my forehead, and whispering to me that it was going to be alright, that I was loved by my Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus.
Years later, during a worship service, singing, “How Great Thou Art”, I heard GG Alma, singing thru me, her absolute favorite piece of music, I felt her presence in me, I was feeling lowly, unworthy, suddenly she’s singing with me, it was her voice singing, not mine. Jesus, working through her to help me. My faith elevated, my trust restored, and my prayers answered, again. I am a sinner, and give constant thanks to God.
